It was a typical night in the small town of Pottenburg. Everyone was indoors, enjoying their evening meals, when a strange sound echoed through the streets. A loud, metallic clanking, like something mechanical was stirring up the stillness.
Dal and Opney, two brave robots, had been sent to investigate the noise. When they arrived at the source of the disturbance, they discovered a satanic cult performing a ritual in a nearby field. The cultists were wearing hooded robes and chanting in a strange language. They had gathered around a large stone altar and were making offerings to their dark god.
The robots watched in horror as the cultists began to chant more fervently, and their offerings seemed to take on a more sinister form. The air around them seemed to crackle with an energy that made them both uneasy.
Suddenly, the altar began to glow with an eerie light. A figure emerged from the altar, and it was none other than Satan himself! He laughed maniacally and declared that he would grant the cult’s wishes if they would only join his dark army.
Dal and Opney were about to intervene, but before they could, the cultists had already accepted Satan’s offer. The robots were now faced with an impossible choice: either join the cult or risk death.
The robots knew that they had no chance against Satan’s forces, so they chose to flee. They ran as fast as their robotic limbs could take them, but it was too late. They could hear the screams of the cultists as they were consumed by the flames of Satan’s wrath.
The robots managed to make it back to Pottenburg safely, but they never forgot what they had seen that night. From then on, they vowed to use their power for good and protect all sentient beings from the forces of evil.
