The Haunting of Blackwood Manor

The Haunting of Blackwood Manor

Hey, hey, you guys wanna hear a story? I got a good one for ya. It’s about this old house…no, no, not just any old house. This was the creepiest, spookiest house you ever did see. And I should know, ’cause I used to live there.

It was a big ol’ place, with creaky stairs and doors that would slam shut on their own. I always felt like I was being watched, like there was something lurking in the shadows. But I was young and foolish back then, didn’t know any better. I thought it was just my imagination.

But then…then things started to happen. Things that I couldn’t explain away. Like the time I woke up in the middle of the night to see a figure standing at the foot of my bed. It was wearing old-fashioned clothes, like something out of a movie. And its eyes…they were black as coal, staring right at me. I tried to scream, but nothing came out. And then it was gone.

Or the time I heard footsteps coming up the stairs, but when I went to investigate, there was nobody there. And the door to the attic…it would open and shut on its own, like something was trying to get out.

I tried to tell my parents what was going on, but they didn’t believe me. They thought it was just my overactive imagination. But then…then something happened that they couldn’t ignore.

It was a stormy night, lightning flashing and thunder booming. And then…then we heard it. A scream, coming from somewhere deep within the house. My parents went to investigate, but I stayed put. I was too scared to move.

And then…then they started screaming too. It was a sound that will haunt me for the rest of my days. I don’t know what happened in there, but I knew I had to get out.

I ran out of the house, into the pouring rain. And I never looked back. But…but I could still hear the screaming, even over the sound of the rain.

Years later, I went back to that old house. It was abandoned, left to rot. But…but I could still feel something there. Something watching me.

And then…then I heard a scream. And I knew…I knew that whatever was in that house, it was still there. Waiting for its next victim.

So, that’s my story. You guys still wanna go exploring old houses in the middle of the night? Yeah, didn’t think so.
